What you need:
175 g butter
125 g soft light-brown sugar
55 g honey
355 g porridge oats
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 180ºC. Put the butter, sugar and honey into a saucepan
Heat pan over a low heat for 2-3 minutes, stirring until melted.
Add the porridge oats and mix.
Por the mixture into the prepared cake tin. Press down well using a spatula.
Bake in the centre of the oven for 15 - 20 minutes until golden. Remove from the oven and leave to cool for 10 minutes.
Cut into squares and allow to cool completely in the tin.
Carefully remove the flacpjacks from the tin using a knife. Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
They taste great and, as they are made from oats, they good for you too. Enjoy!
